Understanding Cells To Revolutionize Healthcare for Europe
Innovative experimental and computational technologies leading to early diagnosis and effective interception of disease, a major step to fundamentally transform our understanding of life and the practice of medicine
Jointly organized by Institut Curie and the Max Delbrück Center with the
Centre National de Recherche Scientifique and the Helmholtz Association
and supported by the French Region Ile-de-France
Welcome Desk (1:30pm-2:00pm)
The program will start with a plenary session on the LifeTime vision, technologies, medical aspects, innovation strategy and citizens and patients involvement (2:00pm – 3:30pm). Speakers include Nikolaus Rajewsky (MDC), Geneviève Almouzni (Institute Curie), Amos Tanay (Weizmann Institute), Jeff Beekman (UMC Utrecht), Joachim Schultze (DZNE and LIMES), Elisabetta Broglio (CRG), Cédric Arcos (Ile-de-France; tbc)
Coffee break (3:30pm – 3:45pm)
Afterwards, panel discussions in three breakout sessions will dive deeper into project aspects concerning industry and innovation, science and medicine as well as citizens and patients (3:45pm – 5:00pm).
The event closes with cocktails and networking (5:00pm to 6:30pm).
The event will present our vision of how developing strengths in single-cell-multi-omics technologies, advanced imaging, experimental disease models, data analysis and artificial intelligence linked with clinical resources will create an unmatched environment
• to accelerate discoveries,
• to drive development of new medicines,
• to foster the commercialization of new solutions,
• to benefit citizens and patients.
